1. Who processes your data?

Berkeley Living, a real estate developer in Tangier, is the data controller. The details of the company (name, trade register, address) are in the legal notice and in the footer of every page. For any question about your data, write to us at the email address given in the footer.

2. What data do we process?

When you fill in the contact form, we process what you enter yourself: your name, phone number, email address, the apartment type you are interested in, your request (brochure or appointment) and the content of your message. Our hosting partner also records technical data (such as your IP address) in server logs, for the operation and security of the website.

3. Cookies

We only place strictly necessary cookies. With your consent in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics to measure visits anonymously. No consent, no measurement. Your choice is stored locally in your browser (localStorage), so the banner does not come back on every visit. You can change it at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the page. The Google Maps map only loads after you click “Show the map”.

4. External services

Formspree processes form submissions so that they reach us (privacy policy at formspree.io). Google Analytics measures visits with your consent, with IP address anonymization enabled. Google Maps shows the map of the district after your click. The presentation video is hosted on YouTube and played in a cookie-free player that only loads when you open it. If you write to us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp processes your conversation under its own privacy policy.

5. How long do we keep your data?

We keep your requests only as long as needed to handle them and for the sales follow-up you asked for, unless a legal obligation requires a longer retention period. Technical logs are deleted automatically by rotation at our hosting partner.

6. Your rights

Under Moroccan Law 09⁠-⁠08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, and under the GDPR if you live in the European Union, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object, as well as the right to withdraw your consent. Send your request to the email address given in the footer. You may also lodge a complaint with the National Commission for the Control of Personal Data Protection (cndp.ma) or with the competent authority in your country.
